A wonderful sport historical moment took place as a surprise at the Swiss Golden Player Award ceremony where the best players of the last season were honored.

WAIPU President Dr. Lucien W. Valloni: "A wonderful sport historical moment happend, when the hockey legend Boris Mikhailov, who arrived from Moscow honored Alex Kovalev, who during the Swiss Golden Player Award was awarded best NLB player, by letting him become a member of the Russian Hall of Fame!! Boris Mikhailov gave the Hall of Fame shirt and the Hall of Fame ring to Alex Kovalev during the Swiss Golden Player Award. This was a very exciting moment for everybody."
